Vicki Newell, Executive Director of Chatham Literacy, is a member of the Siler City Rotary Club.
On February 9, 2019, Vicki attended the District Rotary’s training on district grants and Rotary leadership.
It was a really good morning of training and professional development.
Locally, Chatham Literacy is one of the nonprofits that the Siler City Rotary Club supports to make a difference in our community. We receive grant funding to improve adult literacy in Chatham County.
Globally, the Siler City Rotary Club works with other Rotary Clubs worldwide to eradicate polio, to provide food to the hungry, to provide clean water…among many other worthy and needed services.
