Friday August 21, 2026: Winning Haiku Announcement
Now that the haiku contest is closed for submissions, the poems are being reviewed by local authors Jill McCorkle and Daniel Wallace.
The winning haiku will be unveiled on Friday, August 21 in the Art Incubator’s Gallery at 6 pm. We will also showcase eight additional haikus as honorable mention. These poems will remain in the gallery until the end of August 2026.
This small event will be followed at 6:30 pm by Siler City’s music series on the Rotary Stage just outside the Art Incubator. Why not make an evening of it!
We hope you will join us, whether you submitted a haiku or you’re an appreciator of poetry, in congratulating our poets.
