Administrative Assistant
— Mia Lopez-Calvo completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management at Appalachian State University. She has previous experience working at a non-profit and interning at a private practice, which has provided her with valuable skills. Additionally, she volunteers with SHIIP, helping the elderly understand the benefits of Medicare. Mia is particularly passionate about assisting minority communities, such as the Hispanic population, and is eager to contribute to the work of Chatham Literacy. Looking ahead, Mia aspires to further her education by pursuing a Master’s in healthcare administration or public health.
In her free time, Mia enjoys going for runs, walking her dog, hiking, trying out new restaurants and coffee shops, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
