Kelly Dalton brings more than 15 years of development, communications, and events experience in nonprofits, alumni relations, hospitality, and the financial industry.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and has spent her career connecting people to meaningful local, national, and international causes while building community within the organizations she has served.Â
After 11 years in Durham, NC, she’s thrilled to have spent the last five years back in the Chatham County community she first fell in love with as a new graduate. Kelly enjoys being involved in the local music, art, and dance scene! She is a social and competitive West Coast Swing dancer and musician and photographer with the nonprofit organization, GrrrlBands. In her free time, she also volunteers at local markets and community events, and loves spending time with her family and two dogs enjoying the mountains, beach, and Triangle of NC!
Kelly is so excited to bring her love of connecting people to Chatham Literacy and looks forward to bringing more awareness, volunteers, and support to the mission! You can reach her at kellydalton@chathamliteracy.org
