As a Chatham County native, Josh has lived here all his life and has a marked interest in improving the local community through any way he can. He has firsthand experience of how education and literacy have transformed his own life and relishes the experience of helping others through Chatham Literacy.
Josh obtained a degree in Spanish with a Mathematical Modeling focus from UNC-Wilmington and has a keen interest in languages, with the goal of being able to communicate with as many people as possible. He speaks English, Spanish, and Italian, and is currently self-studying Portuguese.
In his free time, Josh likes to spend time at home taking care of his animals (including his dog, chicken, and shrimp), writing, and designing tabletop games.
