Roya Monadjemi is a long-time resident of North Carolina, having moved from Oregon in 1991. Recently joining Chatham Literacy, she brings over 25 years of experience in business and financial management working with a variety of organizations and industries including nonprofits, hospitality, medicine, and architecture. Roya is honored to support the critical, deeply valuable work that Chatham Literacy brings to the community.
Roya holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Guilford College, so she enjoys going on outdoor adventures with her family whenever possible. At home she loves cooking, gardening, avoiding snakes, and snuggling with her cats, Wallace and Gromit.
