September is National Literacy Month
Chatham Literacy provided tutoring services to 248 adults last year so they could earn a GED, become a U.S. citizen, obtain a job or a promotion, and get involved in their community and children’s school, among other achievements.  Chatham Literacy is embracing National Literacy Month to raise awareness of literacy needs in Chatham County and raise funds in a campaign that promotes the message Literacy….never too early, never too late. Orange Literacy, Durham Literacy, and Literacy Connections of Wayne County will also be participating in their respective counties.
