Come to one of Chatham Literacy’s Volunteer Orientation sessions to find out how you can help adults in Chatham County acquire the literacy and educational skills they need to function successfully in society. We’re always searching for volunteer tutors, but we also have a variety of other one-time and ongoing opportunities where you can share your skills and interests.
Our next orientation sessions are:
- North Chatham: Monday, October 10, from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m., at Carolina Meadows.
- Siler City: Tuesday, October 11, from 6 to 7:15 p.m., Chatham Literacy office, 1100 East Third Street.
- Pittsboro: Thursday, October 13, from 6 to 7:15 p.m., Chatham Community Library, 197 N.C. Highway 87 North.
If you’d like to become a tutor, you’ll need to attend one of those sessions to participate in our next Tutor Training, which is scheduled for Oct. 24, 26 and 29 at Carolina Meadows in northern Chatham County.
