Travis Patterson

Volunteer Coordinator

Travis Patterson grew up in Siler City and currently lives in Pittsboro. He attended Jordan Matthews High School, and after, attended UNC-Chapel Hill where he studied Psychology and Spanish. In 2017, he graduated from the North Carolina Rural Center’s Rural Economic Development Institute.

Travis has worked in non-profit and community work since 2006, and has extensive programmatic experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating programs and services. He has contributed to many local agencies and programs, including Carolina Outreach, Family Visitation Services of Chatham County, Workforce Investment Act (Central Piedmont Community Action), Communities in Schools of Chatham County, and Family Violence and Rape Crisis Services.

Travis brings years of experience working to make Chatham County a better place, through community organizing, empowerment, and service delivery. He is a volunteer himself, serving in different capacities on various boards and projects, including the Siler City Development Organization.
