Why is literacy important?

Donate $25 to promote literacy, then

Receive a Literacy Matters T-shirt. Wear it all day on September 8 – to work, to school, out and about, wherever!

Meet at 7 am at the Court House in Pittsboro for a group photo and news coverage.

Pick-up your T-shirt on September 3 at the Chatham Community Library in Pittsboro between 3 and 6 p.m., or on September 8 at the Courthouse at 7 a.m.
T-shirts will be purchased from Chatham Trades, a non-profit in Siler City that provides employment and training for Chatham County adults with disabilities.*
