It’s 2020 and Chatham Literacy needs your help!

Chatham Literacy is seeking volunteers to teach adult learners in our community:

 – English
 – reading
 – basic literacy life skills
 – citizenship preparation 

We provide the training and materials for free, no experience necessary!  

The need for literacy is across Chatham County.  
Chatham Literacy’s need is to recruit volunteers who will tutor throughout Chatham County, with an emphasis in Siler City and Moncure.

Our next tutor trainings are:

Saturday, February 22 from 9 am – 4 pm
at First United Methodist Church in Siler City

Friday, May 15 from 9 am – 4 pm; location TBD
